Taking over 2,500 square feet at street level, BC Ferries’ new Vacation Centre includes an interactive, high definition 90 square foot media wall. Showcasing some of the most gorgeous visuals this province can deliver, the ‘wall’ works like a giant I-Pad or touch phone. The touch screen technology is mastered in seconds, delivering customers a brilliant way to discover more about BC’s coastal water routes and some really exciting holiday options.

2010 Birthday Celebrations for Rocky Mountaineer

Twenty years is a significant marker at the best of times, however, when applied to the successful operations of a luxury, world class tourism product, the date tends to evoke awe amongst industry peers. This milestone recognizing twenty years of outstanding visitor experience goes out to Rocky Mountaineer with a big Happy Birthday!  To the remarkable people who run the rails, to the teams in operations and marketing, to management, and especially – Founder and Executive Chair/Visionary – my term for this tremendous individual-Peter Armstrong;  congratulations and may many more years of success be bestowed upon this incredible Canadian, and especially, British Columbia railway tourism experience.

Indeed, over twenty years later (the 1988 Winter Games were held here), BC’s provincial cousin to the east is still a force to reckon with when it comes to hosting the Olympics.  As the excitement is building in British Columbia, it has never left the hearts of Albertans.

The beauty of Hawaii is mesmerizing from Oahu to the Big Island. Each island is unique in its delivery of holiday expectations, stimulating our senses with visual wonders like Diamond Head outside of Waikiki, to the delicate floralscents of pikake and gardenia, and inspired Asian influenced gastronomy. The melodic rhythms of the ukulele bring many to their feet, but mostly, it’s the Aloha spirit which grabs at our heart strings. The Islands’ true essence is in the generosity and kindness of the Hawaiian people, which when combined with all of the above, simply captivates our souls.
